Extended Learning

Enrollment

The first opportunity to enroll is embedded in the Extended Learning Pleat in Online Registration. The fields from online registration are available on the Student > General > Extended Learning tool. An Ad Hoc Filter has been built to place these fields into a table.

An enrollment record needs to be created for students enrolling in extended learning. Make sure to set the following fields when creating the enrollment:

  • Grade
  • Start Date
  • Service Type as “S: Partial” (Secondary / Dual-Enrolled). Do not set this to primary; existing primary records would be end dated.
  • Local Start Status

Sections

There are four sections of Extended Learning:

  • Heritage Monday
  • Heritage Tuesday - Friday
  • Upper Monday
  • Upper Tuesday - Friday

Students can be enrolled into sections via:

Section Roster Setup (Attendance will be deleted if a student is removed.)
